MIRNA

by Corso Salani

synopsis

A boat moves up a river and a hand drifts in the water’s current. The river banks pass swiftly by, revealing rusting, abandoned landing stages. Mirna, a beautiful Argentinean woman of twenty-five, is leaving Buenos Aires, a city she finds too big and too complicated. She is looking for a place to live, somewhere in the Andes that will suit her. Thus begins a kind of road-movie through Argentina, through snow-tipped mountain landscapes, where the only sound is that of the wind.
