Following a traumatic accident on the set of her most recent film, actress Zelda checks into a psychiatric clinic for treatment. She falls in love with Alexis, a young musician, who is also being treated. But when the time comes for her to leave, Zelda discovers that Alexis would rather stay where he is and not risk rejoining the outside world.
