WASABI

by Gérard Krawczyk

synopsis

Police lieutenant Hubert, a big-hearted cop who sometimes resorts to laying on the muscle, finds himself on enforced leave after beating up the chief of police’s son. One day he gets a phone call from a lawyer telling him that Miko, the woman he’s always loved and who’d disappeared some 20 years before, has recently died in strange circumstances. The only legatee, Hubert leaves for Japan to discover that what Miko has left for him is more than a last will and testament, more than a gift, more than a problem… He’s caught up in a situation that could blow at any moment…
