SPIKE ISLAND

by Mat Whitecross

synopsis

School is nearly over for summer (and forever) for Shadowcaster band members Tits, Dodge, Zippy, Little Gaz and Peach, five 16-year-old Stone Roses fans from Manchester. Nothing will stop the lads from seeing their heroes on stage, for The Stone Roses' legendary gig of May 27th, 1990 at Spike Island. In the 72 hours leading to the concert, their friendships are tested and their future is shaped together or apart.
