Emma is an 11 year old girl with a lively imagination who feels left out in her large family. Emma loves fairy tale creatures and when she meets Saint Nicolas himself and his wife, Julie, it is the start of a breathtaking adventure into the Elven kingdom. They must save Nicolas' and Julie's newborn child from the bitter Elven Queen, who has abolished love in the kingdom. Emma gets surprising help from the curious Elven boy, Rod, and they realize that in order to save the child and bring love to the kingdom, they have to find the frozen heart of the Elver Queen.
