LE DERNIER GANG

by Ariel Zeïtoun

synopsis

From petty theft on the benches of Belleville to the over-publicised hold-ups of the large Parisian banks, this is the spectacular rise of Simon and his gang. They are capable of emptying a series of safes under the very nose of the police who are bewildered by the calm audacity shown by the group. But how long will the inseparable gang manage to avoid bloodshed, endure the boredom of being on the run in the tropics and have a love life, whilst at the same time playing hide-and-seek with the police? This is an especially difficult task, as they have to contend with Milan, a cop who has been determined to defeat them ever since their first criminal activities in the neighbourhood. Obsessed by Simon’s gang, Milan’s sole purpose in life is to catch the leader.
