Fred Kelemen

First began studying painting and music and worked as an assistant director in various theaters. In 1989, he started a course of studies at the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin.

His feature films incldue Kalyi - Zeit der Finsternis (1993), Soledades (1994), Fate (1994, winner of a German Film Award), Frost (1997, winner of the FIPRESCI Award in Rotterdam and the prize for Best Director at Taormina), and Nightfall (1999), among others. (German Films)
