Aleksei German Jr.

Aleksei German Jr., born in Moscow in 1976, studied at the Russian Film School –VGIK and received numerous international awards for his early shorts. His feature debut received a Special Mention at the Venice International Film Festival, where his second film Garpastum participated in the official competition and his third feature Paper Soldier won the Silver Lion.
