Sergio Oksman
Born in 1970 in São Paulo, Sergio Oksman studied journalism in Brazil and film in New York. He made several short documentaries includingA Story for the Modlins (2012), which earned him various prizes such as the Best Documentary Award at Karlovy Vary and the Goya in the same category in 2013. Sergio Oksman has also directed feature-length films, among them A Esteticista (2004) and Goodbye America (2006). He is currently based in Madrid where he teaches film and heads Dok Films Productions.
