Udi Aloni

Born in 1959, this Israeli-American director frequently explores the interrelationships between art, theory and activism in his work. His films have screened at many major festivals including the Berlinale where he won the CINEMA fairbindet Prize in 2013 for Art/ Violence. His visual art has been exhibited in museums including the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. His most recent work for the theatre, “Anti-Oedipusor: Kaddish to Shulamit”, was shown at the 2015 Schillertage in Mannheim.
