Marina Spada

(Milan, 1957) earned a degree in Music History and graduated form the School of Dramatic Arts of Milan’s Piccolo Theatre. She has made commercials, worked in television and directed numerous documentaries and video portraits.

Since 1993 she has worked as a teacher at the Milan Film School as well as a director and executive producer.

Her debut feature Forza Cani screened at the Bellaria Film Festival. As a Shadow, selected in Venice Days in 2006, went on to screen at other top international festivals, winning numerous prizes.
