Róbert I. Douglas

Born in Reykjavik on 4.6.1973. The son of an Icelandic civil servant and a teacher, he grew up in Ireland.

He first came into con tact with film using his parent’s Super 8 camera and video camera. He later attended the Media School in Northern Ireland for two years.

He made his debut as a feature film director in the year 2000 with the feature- length version of his award-winning 1998 short film, Íslenski Draumurinn.
