His frequent collaboration with Robert Rodriguez resulted in his participation in Four Rooms (1995), Sin City (2005) and Grindhouse (2007). He has put his name to episodes of CSI and ER, and he moreover produces young and promising directors.
Inglourious Basterds carried off the Best Actor Award (Christoph Waltz) at Cannes Festival 2009.
