James Marsh

James Marsh was born in Truro in Great Britain and grew up in Cornwall and London. A documentary and feature film director, he received an Academy Award in 2009 for Best Documentary for his film MAN ON WIRE about high wire artist Philippe Petit, and his recent documentary PROJECT NIM received an award at Sundance in 2011. His film SHADOW DANCER won Best Performance in a British Feature Film for Brid Brennan and Andrea Riseborough at 2012 Edinburgh International Film Festival and was presented at 2012 Berlin Film Festival.
