Previously known as Civilization, Bier’s new Danish-language film has sold to Germany (Universum), Switzerland (Frenetic) and Brazil (California Films). The drama co-written by the director and Anders Thomas Jensen is a family drama set against a refugee camp in Sudan’s Darfur region. The leads are played by Mikael Persbrandt, Trine Dyrholm and Ulrich Thomsen. The Danish release is set for August 26.

The Swedish box office success Easy Money has just been sold to the UK (Icon Film Distribution) and Australia (Madman).
