Produced by Revolver’s Nick Taussig (Anuvahood) and written by Paul Van Carter (Shank), the film is set for a late summer shoot in London. Scalpello and Jane Ripley (Sket) are currently casting. Taussig is looking to appoint an international sales agent during Cannes.

Revolver has also boarded Scalpello’s next project, Here Comes the Summer, being produced by Andrea Cornwell and Alan McKenna. Scalpello and McKenna co-wrote the screenplay that follows Paul, an aficionado of the 2 Tone music genre, whose future is jeopardised when a night of uncontrollable violence and small town revenge escalates into a full-blown riot. Old loyalties start to fracture as Paul and his gang find themselves isolated at the wrong end of town. The streets become a battleground as mods, punks and rude boys fight for the soul of British youth.

The film will go into production straight after Feltham.

Gunslinger’s Sket, about girl gangs, is set for an autumn 2011 UK release with AV Pictures handling international sales.
