) will play the roles of the famous painter Auguste Renoir and his son, the less famous film-maker Jean Renoir, in Renoir, la Source by Gilles Bourdos.

Made famous by Disparus (Directors' Fortnight 1998), Gilles Bourdos went on to direct Inquiétudes (2004) and the English language film Afterwards which was shown in Toronto in 2008.
