European cinema’s diversity will shine this week in France, as 14 new films are released in its cinemas. According to the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), this year January registered 16.24 million admissions, 11% more than the same time last year. French films held 47,1% of the market, against 37% for American films and 15,9% for feature films of other nationalities.
