Slate funding for seven producers

The UK Film Council (FC) has allocated some £1,171,000 (Euros1,700m) towards slate development from seven local production companies as part of the second year of a three-year support scheme from the UK film body.
The companies and total funding received from the FC for their second (and first year) of feature film development slate are the following: Autonomous (£216,000 in its second year/£140,000 in its first year – respectively Euros314,500 and Euros204,000), Company Films (£130,000/£100,000 – Euros189,000 & Euros146,000), Ecosse Films (£250,000/£250,000), Gruber Films (£100,000/£100,000 - Euros146,000), Kuhn & Co (£250,000/£350,000 - Euros364 000 & Euros510 000), October Films (£75,000/£75,000 – Euros 110,000), and Recorded Picture Company Recorded Picture Company (£150,000/£150,000 - Euros218,000).
A total of 20 production companies originally received funding, but the other 13 are still in their first year of the FC’s Slate Development Fund scheme.
