Michael "Bully" Herbig signs with Warner Bros

film profile] (fourth at the German box office in 2009 with over 4.92 million admissions) and Warner Bros is to have pre-emptive rights for his next two films.
These two features are to be produced by the German star’s own production company, herbX film. The first, Buddy, tells the story of "a guardian angel who accidentally erupts in the life of the person he is watching over,” to quote Herbig’s own description of the film that he wrote, is to direct, produce in co-production with Warner Bros, and star in as its two main characters. Filming for Buddy is set to start in March 2013.
