In Focus – Fantaisie, a Canadian/German coproduction has been selected, Istvan Kantor's Oh Superstar, while the Tribute to William Klein includes two films by him which were produced by the German company Oko-Filmproduktion.

Among the features screening in the Youth Section are Stephan Schesch's Moon Man and Laura Schroeder's The Treasure Knights – The Secret of Melusina. A few more German-financed films can be found in the short film programmes.
