 by Matteo Pellegrini was presented during the 2012 Rome International Film Festival. It is a multinational comedy with a cast including Aleksei Guskov, Anita Kravos, Michele Venitucci and Filippo Timi. The coproduction involved Indiana ProductionEagle PicturesLumiq Studios, Skycinema, Merenda Film, Edi and Trikita.

 (Alì blue eyes - photo) is Claudio Giovannes’ feature film debut, and tells the story of a young second generation immigrant. The nonprofessional cast includes Nader Sarhan, and the production was by Acaba Productions and Rai Cinema

The line-up for Rome-based companies include a few very interesting 2013 newcomers. Il terzo tempo (The after match) by Enrico Maria Artale, with Stefano Cassetti, Stefania Rocca and young Lorenzo Richelmy, is a dramatic film on the discomfort of being seventeen, produced by Filmauro by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia ProductionLa variabile umana (The human factor) by newcomer Bruno Oliviero is a thriller featuring an inspector who has to resolve a murder in which his teenage daughter is involved. The case includes Silvio Orlando, Giuseppe Battiston and Alice Raffaelli and is a Lumière & Co., Invisible Film and Rai Cinema production.  

Fresh out of post-production is thriller Ti ho cercata in tutti i necrologi (The gambler who wouldn't die), which sees Giancarlo Giannini take on the role of director and main character, together with F. Murray Abraham and Silvia De Santis. Produced by Magalì ProductionDean Film, Leader Media Productions LTD, Sancor Holdings Inc and Rai Cinema.
