Company-geared cinema or dramanagement, is “a new audiovisual format which uses the narrative strength of cinema to help companies communicate messages in a more memorable and emotive way,” Sergi Corbeto, the founder of consulting company Cookie Box from which the initiative was born, explained.

Corbeto was keen to point out that this genre was “not about empowering brands, but about empowering people and transmitting internal values to companies.” A new tool for internal communication within companies then, with a clear pedagogical voice.

Rebordinos, Cienfuegos and Sala highlighted the “absolute necessity, almost a duty” to take a chance on new cinema and financing forms. In this way, Rebordinos explained that if this idea “brought companies closer to the world of cinema, then let us welcome it.”

Sala underlined that “cinema has always turned its back on industries, and maybe if things had changed sooner, cinema (and culture in general) wouldn’t be in trouble.” Cienfuegos talked about a need to “reinvent ourselves and be open to new disciplines and new entrepreneurial forms.”
