Get Up And Go wraps shoot

Writer/Director Brendan Grant (Tonight Is Cancelled) has wrapped a three-week shoot at Dublin locations on comedy-drama Get Up And Go and the film is currently in post. The film follows a close-knit group of twenty-something friends as they are forced to confront the reality of lives and friendships, which have gone unchallenged and unchanged since their teenage years. The film has shot in several different locations in inner Dublin city including the Screen Cinema, Parnell Square, Smithfield and Northside quays.


The film is an Irish/Welsh co-production between Ireland’s Fastnet Films and Wales’ Fragrant Films. Juliette Bonass is producing for Fastnet Films with Macdara Kelleher as Executive Producer. The crew is a mixture of Irish and Welsh personnel.

The film is expected to be available to buyers in early 2014.
