was only the flag bearer of a wave of domestic releases that will fill Romanian cinemas with local films this autumn. As many as eight films will fight for the cinemagoers' attention, six of these productions being first features.

(photo), a romantic comedy about couples in a relationship counselling camp, will be released by MediaPro Distribution this Friday. This first feature, with young actors and a popular theme, has the makings of a box-office success in a landscape dominated by dramas.

September 20 comes with Corneliu Porumboiu's third feature When Evening Falls on Bucharest or Metabolism [+see also:
