The 4-day event also includes a full programme of panel discussions, workshops and case studies that deal with topics such as the workflows in the digital era, internet ticketing or social media marketing. Another issue is the role of the cinema for the German film culture that will be discussed by AG Kino chairman Christian Bräuer, script writer Fred Breinersdorfer (Sophie Scholl: The Final Days [+see also:

), DCM Film distributor Dario Suter as well as Christine Berg, deputy chairman of the Federal Film Board.

The Federal Film Board will launch a new report on the situation of art house cinemas in Germany. New partnerships for the cinema is the subject of a workshop in collaboration with the German MEDIA Desk. Irsina Orssich, Member of Directorate-General for Education and Culture at European Commission in Brussels, Renate Rose, Head of the European Film Promotion, as well as Jane and Amica Hall from the Assemble Studios in Great Britain will discuss strategies for audience development in Europe.
