Written by the director and Diastème, the screenplay focuses on Éléonore, who is in her thirties and just lost her father. He left her his house in Brittany, which she must absolutely sell. She asks Samuel, her ex, with whom she broke up a few months before, to go with her because he has a driving licence and she does not want to go alone to this house she hasn’t visited since the death of her father. An astonishing weekend, filled with surprises and emotions, tensions, memories and fights, melancholic and absurd moments, that will transform Éléonore and Samuel.

Produced by Kizmar Films (Alexia de Beauvoir and Antoine Morand) & Noodles Production (Jérôme Vidal), Les châteaux de sable benefits amongst others from the backing of the Brittany region where the four weeks of filming are taking place. The French distribution and international sales are still being negotiated.

It is worth noting that Noodles Production is a partner of Cry/Fly (read the news) by Claudia Llosa, the Peruvian filmmaker living in Spain and winner in Berlin in 2009 with her last opus Fausta [+see also:
