The European Film Promotion (EFP) has revealed today the five members of the jury for the Shooting Stars 2014, who will select the ten best young actors from across Europe. The Shooting Stars event have helped to propel successful actors such as Carey Mulligan, Alba Rohrwacher, Verónica Echegui, Elio Germano or Dragos Bucur.

The 2014 jury includes Norwegian actor and former Shooting Star Anders Baasmo Christiansen (Kon-Tiki [+see also:

), British film critic and editor Charles Gant, German filmmaker Hermine Huntgeburth (The White Massaï), Croatian casting director Oriana Kunčić (A Stranger [+see also:

The ten chosen actors will be unveiled by the jury next month, after selecting them from a group of twenty four. The ten finalists will then be presented to the international film community and entertainment media at the Berlin International Film Festival (February 6-16, 2014), where each of them will also be honoured with the Shooting Stars Award.
