by Vincenzo Marra will be coming out in Italian movie theatres, distributed by Gianluca Arcopinto’s Pablo. The films, both produced by Arcopinto, will come out between January and March across Italy.

La mia classe, which was presented during Venice Days (read the review), will be the first to be released. The film stars immigrants playing themselves as they learn Italian with teacher Valerio Mastandrea. The film, produced by Axelotil Film by Arcopinto, ChimeraFilm, and Relief with Rai Cinema, has been touring a number of international festivals and was judged by the Agis school to be particularly adapted for screening in schools due to its high cultural value.

L’amministratore’s release will follow in March. The film is a journey through the less-known parts of Naples, told through a Charon-type figure who takes us through the various parts of the city, in rich quarters and poor quarters. The film opened the CinemaXXI section at the last Rome Film Festival.
