The Last Station and Sacro GRA win at the jubilee ZagrebDox
- The Chilean-German co-production wins the International Competition, while the Venice winner gets gold in the Regional Competition
The tenth, jubilee edition of the ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival, which took place between 23 February and 2 March in the Croatian capital, ended with The Last Station, by Chilean directors Cristian Soto and Catalina Vergara, scooping the Big Stamp in the International Competition. The co-production with Germany is a lyrical observation of the inhabitants of a Santiago nursing home.

Carlo Zoratti received the Small Stamp for Best Film by a Director under 35 for the German-Italian-Austrian co-production The Special Need [+see also:

film profile], and special mentions were given to Aly Muritiba for Patio (Brazil) and Sarah Polley for Stories We Tell (Canada).
The Movies that Matter Award went to Vitaly Mansky's Pipeline (Russia-Czech Republic-Germany), and Croatia's Hrvoje Mabic got a special mention for 4th Monkey. Furthermore, Return to Homs picked up another prize in this category.
Local director Irena Skoric's Dear Lastan! [+see also:

film profile] was given the Audience Award, and the students of the First Private High School in Zagreb chose With Open Eyes by Sweden's Erik Bäfving for the Teen Dox prize. Red Carpet by Spanish directors Manuel Fernández and Iosu López received a special mention.
The Phone Dox Award for the best film made on a mobile phone went to Turkey's Sirin Bahar Demirel for Living with Leviathan.
Lastly, festival director Nenad Puhovski decided to present the My Generation Award to Marcel Lozinski for Father and Son on a Journey.
