East Silver is the first documentary market which supports producers and distributors from Central and Eastern Europe. Each year, about 270 films are presented to TV buyers, distributors and sales agents, festival representatives and other film professionals during the market at Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. The upcoming 11th edition will take place from 23-28 October 2014, Jihlava, Czech Republic. All the market submissions are also valid for the 18th Jihlava IDFF in 2014. A major part of East Silver is the easy-to-navigate online version of the market, which allows producers to make their titles available to professionals throughout the year from everywhere in the world. All of the submitted films are also eligible for the Silver Eye Award for the best film at the market.
