14/07/2014 - Young writer-directors who are developing their feature debuts have until 1 September to apply for the 17th session

Founded in 1998 by Élisabeth Depardieu, who is in charge of its artistic direction, Emergence helps young writer-directors to develop their debut feature projects during a three-week residency by giving them the chance to film two sequences from their screenplay, with support provided on an artistic level (including some well-known sponsors) as well as through professional production resources.
