Irish Film Board announces Catalyst Project shortlist

Nine shortlisted teams of emerging filmmakers, out of 88 applicants, will go through to the final interview stage of the Irish Film Board’s (IFB) Catalyst Project. Of these, three teams, to be announced in October, will get to produce feature films budgeted at €350,000.

IFB CEO James Hickey said, “We were very encouraged by the volume and high quality of applications for Catalyst funding this year. The assessment process was highly competitive and many difficult choices had to be made to confirm the final shortlist.”
