The Italian Ministry of Culture supports new films by Sorrentino, Frammartino and Mollo
- The Ministry has recognised the cultural value of features, and first and second films. Among those receiving funding and recognition are also Avati, Morante, Genovese and Marcello
La giovinezza by Paolo Sorrentino, Tarda primavera by Michelangelo Frammartino and Ombre bianche by Fabio Mollo are among the films recognised for their cultural value – and therefore receiving funding – by the film subcommission of the MiBACT, the Italian Ministry of Culture, the first two films in the context of the 15 October 2014 resolution (feature-film section, requests can be submitted until 31 January) and the third as part of the 29 October 2014 decision (in the section for first and second films, deadline 15 January).
The new film by Oscar-winning director Sorrentino, produced by Indigo Film, has received €900,000 in support, Frammartino's new movie (his Le quattro volte [+see also:
