Europa International introduced its new project Set The Trend!, funded by the MEDIA programme, for 2015 and 2016, which is an exchange of views between the US and the EU regarding the developments in international distribution in the digital era, and the relationships between sales agents and, on one hand distributors, but on the other hand producers, the two sides of the sales agents’ business and work.

Ymagis, the official partner of Europa International, presented the new DirectAsset platform, a solution dedicated to sales agents in order for them to manage the servicing operations with local distributors. Ted Hope, the chairman of the EI conference since the very beginning and CEO of Fandor, introduced the VoD subscription platform Fandor in the US. Misa Mogorovic (CEO of Soul Food and member of EI) updated the members on his project FBO Festival Box Office, an international platform collecting data from festivals (number of attendees, average ticket price, number of screenings, total percentages of ticket sales) and funded by Eurimages.

Europa International is the European organisation for sales agents, boasting 40 members from 15 countries.

Susan Wendt (TrustNordisk) is the president of Europa International. Nelleke Driessen (Fortissimo Films), Daniela Elstner (Doc & Film Intl), Jan Naszewski (New Europe Film Sales), Jean-Christophe Simon (Films Boutique), Jenny Walendy (The Match Factory), Sasha Wieser (EastWest Filmdistribution) and François Yon (Films Distribution) are board members.
