Lastly, Arte France Cinéma will also be providing funding to Mountains May Depart by the masterful Jia Zhangke (winner of the Best Screenplay Award at Cannes in 2013 with A Touch of Sin and the Golden Lion at Venice in 2006 with Still Life, among other prizes), which will be co-produced by MK2 with China and Japan.
