The decision was made today by the board of founders, comprising Rome City Council, the Lazio Region, the Metropolitan City of Rome, the Rome Chamber of Commerce, the Rome Music Foundation and Istituto Luce Cinecittà.
The Foundation’s new board of directors will be made up of five members: Piera Detassis (representing Rome City Council), Laura Delli Colli (representing the Lazio Region), Giancarlo Cremonesi (Chamber of Commerce), Carlo Fuortes (Rome Music Foundation) and Roberto Cicutto (Istituto Luce Cinecittà).
Piera Detassis has been one of the festival’s key players since it was founded in 2006, initially as a member of the artistic management team, then as coordinator and later, up until 2011, as artistic director.
