film profile] (read the review), which was unveiled in the 47th Directors' Fortnight at the 68th Cannes Film Festival, where it has won the Europa Cinemas Label (given out by a jury of exhibitors to the best European film in the parallel section).

Produced by French outfit CG Cinéma together with Germany and Turkey, Mustang will be distributed in France by Ad Vitam. The international sales managed by Kinology have already been very successful, with acquisitions for the USA (Cohen Media Group), the UK (Curzon Artificial Eye), Italy (Lucky Red), Spain (A Contracorriente), the Scandinavian countries (Scanbox), Poland (Gutek), Benelux (Cinéart), Portugal (Outsider Films), Greece (Strada Films), the countries of the former Yugoslavia (2I Film), Turkey, Japan and South Korea.

The SACD Award, which is also handed out to a title in the Directors' Fortnight, went to My Golden Days [+see also:
