- The market (Paris, 11-12 June) will host a series of panels and conferences that will address the current situation of digital content in Europe

Cross Video Days: let’s get digital

Cross Video Days, the leading European digital content market, will take place on Thursday and Friday, 11 and 12 June, in Paris. The event, directed by Bruno Smadja, has already unveiled the 64 projects selected out of the 378 received from 51 countries (read the news), for which it will hand out two prizes (the Best Francophone Project, in partnership with TV5Monde, and the Grand Prix Cross Video Days, in partnership with Digiteka).

Cross Video Days, which always addresses the current situation of digital content in Europe, has also made public the programme of panels and conferences. This year, the event will highlight the ever-growing field of virtual and augmented reality, as well as new and innovative ways to engage the digital audience and to encourage digital co-production. VR will be the focus during the panel Virtual Reality, the New Frontier: Meeting the Explorers and two special case studies. The potential of digital content, from financing and co-production to audience engagement, will also be tackled during the two days, in the Funding Digital Content panel, the Monetisation and Business Models: Let’s Be Creative panel, the International Digital Co-production panel and the Digital Audience Engagement: Best Practices panel, respectively.

These conferences, which will see the participation of renowned professionals from all over the world, will rub shoulders with workshops and pitching sessions on the programme.
