Written by the directorial duo, the story sees Fiona, a Canadian librarian, arrive in Paris to come and help her old aunt Martha, who is threatened with the prospect of being put into a retirement home. But Fiona loses her luggage and discovers that Martha has disappeared. It is the start of a whole string of catastrophes that will lead her to cross paths with Dom, a selfish, conceited and clingy homeless person, who ruins her life.

Produced by Christie Molia for Moteur s'il Vous Plaît Production and by Charles Gillibert for CG Cinéma, Lost in Paris is co-produced by Belgium via Courage Mon Amour, Be Tv and Proximus (SIA). Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature is also benefiting from backing by Wallonie Bruxelles Images, the FWB, Media Development, the Cinémage Sofica and Scope. The entirety of the ten-week shoot will take place in Paris until 14 August. Distribution will be handled by Potemkine Films in France and by Cinéart in Belgium, with international sales managed by MK2 International.
