Marco Danieli got his diploma in directing from the Experimental Cinematography Centre (CSC) and his short films have been screened at a number of Italian and international festivals. His debut feature film is being produced by the production company of the Experimental Cinematography Centre, CSC Production, in co-production with French company Barbary Films and RAI Cinema. The piece is also receiving the financial backing of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Margutta Digital, F.lli Cartocci, Storymatch, Annamode Costumes, Fabio Piscopo and Daniele Orazi.

The team is made up of students and former students of the CSC, another notable student of which is Antonio Manca, the writer of the storyline and screenplay with Marco Danieli. Shooting will move from Rome to Genzano and Viterbo and will last for six weeks in total.
