Despite the lack of French directors among the contenders for the Tiger Awards for the sixth year in a row, French film production will be very well represented at the 45th International Film Festival Rotterdam (27 January-7 February 2016 – read the interview with the new director of the gathering, Bero Beyer), once again demonstrating the extent and depth of its reach and standing at the heart of the global film industry.
