) and will close on 5 February after screening 399 films from 78 countries, the festival announced at its press conference on Tuesday.

The gathering's main Nordic section will feature nine films competing for the Dragon Award, worth SEK 1 million (€102,185). In addition to Amateurs, the competition includes Jesper Ganslandt's Jimmie [+see also:

The festival has also announced that Juliette Binoche and Alicia Vikander will be this year's recipients of the Nordic Honorary Dragon Award. Both will hold master classes, and Binoche will also be joining in with the festival’s celebration of the 100-year anniversary of Ingmar Bergman's birth by selecting Scenes from a Marriage for a special retrospective, while Vikander will be there for the Nordic premiere of the aforementioned Euphoria, which she stars in.
