), revolves around a coach who tries to save the village football team from being eliminated from the championship by resolving to form an all-female team in order to replace the men and get the missing point that will pull them through. But the situation will turn this small community’s deeply entrenched conventions completely upside down…

Executive-produced by Quad and Kissfilms (with Quad acting as line producer), Les Footeuses is being co-produced by 14è Art, GaumontTF1 Films Production, and Belgium’s La Compagnie Cinématographique and Panache Productions. Having been pre-purchased by TF1, TMC, Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature has also secured support from Pictanovo (the Hauts-de-France region). The eight-week shoot will take place in Ile-de-France and Hauts-de-France. The French distribution and international sales will be handled by Gaumont.
