The prizes of the Bio to B - Doc & Biopic Business Meeting, the event that Biografilm Festival - International Celebration of Lives dedicates to business-to-business networking for audiovisual professionals with the aim of promoting and supporting Italian and European biographical and biopic documentary productions, have been awarded.

The jury composed of Catherine Le Clef (Cat&Docs, France), Louis Balsan (Films Boutique, Germany), Diana Karklin (Rise&Shine, Germany), Hussain Currimbhoy (Sundance Film Festival, United States) and Anaïs Clanet (Wide House, France) awarded the Best European Project award to a project from Norway: Once Aurora [+see also:

The Lone Girl – directed by Marco Amenta and produced by Simonetta Amenta for Euro Film – won the award for Best Italian Project, while the Best Project from Emilia-Romagna went to Kemp, a filmdirected by Edoardo Gabbriellini and produced by Ilaria Malagutti for Mammut Film.

The DOK Leipzig Prize, awarded by Leena Pasanen – artistic director of Biografilm’s German festival partner – went to the Italian Project In a Future April (The Young Pasolini) [+see also:

by Federico Savonitto and Francesco Costabile, produced by Altreforme in collaboration with Centro Studi Pier Paolo Pasolini, Cinemazero and AAMOD. The project also won an invitation to DOK Leipzig and its industry programme, with full coverage of the team's accreditation and hospitality costs.

The Bio to B - Doc & Biopic Business Meeting is hosted in collaboration with MIBACT, the Municipality of Bologna, Bologna Welcome and the D.E-R - Documentaristi Emilia-Romagna.
