An adaptation by the directorial duo of the novel What You Need from the Night by Laurent Petitmangin, the script tells a family story rooted in Lorraine, about a railway-worker father and his two sons, following the death of their mother.

Produced by Marie Guillaumond for Felicita Films and by Olivier Delbosc for Curiosa Films, À la hauteur is being co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and by Belgium’s Umedia. The film, which has been pre-purchased by France Télévisions and Canal+, also boasts support from the Grand Est region, where the entirety of the shoot will take place until mid-July, with Belgian DoP Frédéric Noirhomme (Playground [+see also:
