Written by the director, the script tells the story of a young woman across two time periods: Marion becomes “Louise” and finds herself thrust into a life of lies, against her wishes. 15 years after she ran away from the family home, she manages to track down her younger sister and goes to meet her. But the latter does not recognise her. In the spur of the moment, Marion decides to introduce herself under her new name, Louise…

Produced by Valérie Garcia for Gabman, Une fille sans histoire is co-produced by Belgium’s Scope Pictures and France’s La Boétie Films. Pre-bought by Netflix, UniversCiné, RTBF, Proximus and Be TV, the feature film also benefits from the support of Screen Brussels, Scope Invest, Impact Film, Cofimage and the Procirep. Filming will take place from 29 January to 14 March in Belgium and France. French distribution will be handled by UGC and Originals Factory.
