Norway is visiting
From the 6th to the 10th of April, the Casa del cinema in Rome presents An Eye on Norway ("Occhio alla Norvegia"), that is, a series of screenings including features, shorts, and documentaries, organised with the support of the Norwegian Embassy in Rome, the Norvegian Film Institute, and the Norvegian Film Commission, and hosted by director Ettore Scola.
On the programme, we find 5 of the most recent features, Norwegian classics, a few short films, and documentaries including Life of Dance, Sivi A. Lindseth’s work on the great painter Edward Munch (the screening of which coincides with the exhibition ‘Munch 1863-1944’ which is currently taking place at the Complesso del Vittoriano), Immortal Ibsen by Erling Borgen, Cool & Crazy by Knut Erik Jensen, My Jealous Barber by Annette Sjursen, The Greatest Thing by Thomas Robsahm Tognazzi, and Music for Weddings and Funerals by Unni Straume.
