In 2005 and 2006, 7 Italian films coproduced by Cattleya and Babe Film will be released in France. This was announced by Fabio Conversi —the producer who created Babe Film and has been living in France for a few years, which allows him to act as an intermediary between Italian producers and French distributors— at the recent Montecarlo Forum of Cinema and Litterature, and published online by E-duesse. Conversi also revealed the first two titles of the selection : Quando sei nato non puoi più nasconderti by Marco Tullio Giordana (release in September, distributed by Mars Film) and La bestia nel cuore by Cristina Comencini, starring Luigi Lo Cascio and Stefania Rocca (release in October). Both films were supported by Rai Cinema.
