Ile-de-France makes European connections
The first European meetings of the CRC network (Capital Regions for Cinema) organised by the Ile-de-France region during the Cannes Film Festival, were a success. According to a press release published yesterday, the Île-de-France region revealed that, from the 16th to the 18th of May, about 80 French, German, Italian, and Spanish producers attended these meetings between the French region and its partners : the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the Lazio Film Commission, and the Madrid Film Commission.
These meetings were designed to allow professionals in search of co-producers or distributors in the four countries represented to show them their projects. Several companies ended up meeting European partners ; co-production agreements should ensue very soon. Amongst the production companies present at the meetings, there were the German producers Razor Film, Senator and X Filme, the Italian companies Ager Tre (Maria Grazia Volpi), Arancia Cinema and Thule, the Spanish producers Abaco Movies, Wanda Vision and Zebra Producciones, and the French companies Cine B, Delante Films, EuropaCorp, Fit Productions, Gedeon Programmes, Les Les Films Pelléas and Pan Européenne Production .
